Friends of Wildlife rehabilitators work hard to prepare the animals in their care for release back into the wild. We may only release animals on private property and with the permission of the landowner. Wild spaces are growing smaller. Much of the undeveloped private land where we formerly were allowed to release animals has been sold for development or to new owners who are unsympathetic to our cause. If you own land in Michigan (in Washtenaw County or the surrounding counties) and are willing to allow us to release rehabilitated wildlife on it, please let us know by calling our Information Line at (734) 913-9843 |
